Primate Elijah Ayodele, Founder and Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church has warned the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) and the Nigerian Sports Commission (NSC) not to leave the Nigerian football supporters club in the hand of Okumagba.
The Primate prophetically disclosed that the Nigerian football supporters’ Club would be in ruins if the club is left in the hand of Okumagba.
He also stated that he is not taken side but let the right thing be done.
He also advised the commission and the federation to incorporate Dr Rafiu Ladipo in whatever they are doing, adding that Dr Ladipo should be made the head of the Board of Trustee.
Primate Ayodele said that Dr Ladipo has done so much for the Nigerian football supporters club and should not be thrown away.
He said, “I want to advise Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) and Nigerian Sports Commission (NSC) that if you use Okumagba the Nigerian football supporters club will die.
“I am not in support of anyone. Don’t relegate Ladopo.
“Make Ladipo the overall head, you can have another President General but you can make Ladipo the head of BOT. Ladipo has suffered, he has done so much for the Nigerian football.
“I am advising the NFF President and the NSC Chairman to work with the best candidate, and not Okumagba.
“Okumagba as Nigerian Football Supporters’ Club President will fail our supporters club and meanwhile let them take the name and add other names to it, but don’t relegate Dr Rafiu Ladipo, Dr Rafiu Ladipo is a household name in Nigeria.”
