“If it was your Child Baba ljesha did that to, would you have brought him to your show? If nobody tells you the truth, I will. I hand you over to God.”

Iyabo Ojo threatens to sue Baba Ijesha over comments about her kids

Iyabo Ojo has addressed claims by Olanrewaju Omiyinka, the actor popularly known as Baba Ijesha, that she once entrusted him with the care of her children Festus and Priscilla.

In a recent interview with Biola Bayo, Baba Ijesha insisted that the comedian Princess had set him up with the victim.

He also referenced that Iyabo Ojo’s children were once entrusted to his care when they were young, claiming he monitored them while the Actress was away.

Iyabo Ojo has responded with fire.

She said on her Instagram story: “I honestly have no problem with you telling your side of the story. But take this as a notice to CEASE AND DESIST from using my children as your cheap bait. It won’t fly.

“My kids have always had nannies or my late mum with them, and they were never alone at my former business place in Ilupeju. I had multiple staff, including stylists, sales reps, and apprentices, so it’s unlikely I’d be the one running errands. I can send a worker if needed. I’m okay with you sharing your story, but don’t mislead the public with false claims about my kids.

“You were a senior colleague no more to it; however, that 14-year-old girl was a minor, and sexual assault is never okay. It is a crime. You should show some remorse. The court found you guilty based on the evidence, so please don’t drag my kids into this. Stop mentioning their names, else I would direct my counsel to serve you appropriate papers.”

The interviewer Biola Adebayo has begged for pardon.

Her statement said: “Iyabo Ojo Please I am Sorry, Forgive me, I previously brought Seun Egbegbe on the same show after he was released from prison, and he received encouragement from people—some even gifted him. I thought that would be the same situation in this case.

“Also, do not forget that the man in question is my senior colleague. He is one of the people who encouraged me while I was coming up in the industry, so I was not in a position to embarrass him on my show. I simply did my part as an interviewer, and I did not know it would trigger people’s anger.

“To everyone who feels offended, I am truly sorry. I do not agree with what he has done. I honestly thought he would apologize. It is not my place to dictate what he should say. I am deeply sorry.”
