The House of Representatives has made a U-Turn on the second reading of a Bill seeking to strip the Vice President, governors and deputy governors of their constitutionally-guaranteed immunity.
The lower legislative chamber took the decision after Julius Ihonvbere, Majority Leader of the house, moved a Motion on Thursday.
The green chamber also rescinded decision on the Bill to abolish death penalty.
Both Bills passed second reading during plenary on Wednesday.
