Nigeria’s former President Muhammadu Buhari, aged 82, lies buried in a simple grave at his home, two days after his death, at a clinic in London, on Sunday June 13, 2025.
The body was flown back to Nigeria and taken to his home town of Daura, with Islamic funeral prayers, before being finally interred in a grave dug in the grounds of his home.
Present were dignitaries including: President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Guinea-Bissau President Umaro Sissoco Embaló and Buhari’s Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo present.
