The government of the United States has threatened a visa ban on Nigerian politicians and “high-profile” individuals involved in corruption.
Issuing the warning via a #VisaWiseTravelSmart circular on its X handle on Monday September 22, the U.S. Mission in Nigeria said:
“Did You Know Even when high-profile individuals engage in corruption, they can be barred from receiving #USVisas. FIGHTING CORRUPTION KNOWS NO BORDERS or limits on accountability.”
