The Joseph Sarwuan Tarka University in, Makurdi, Benue State, has ordered students leave the campus, where four female undergraduates were abducted by gunmen.
Reports said those kidnapped were: Emmanuella Msenuter Orakaa, Susan, Lember Apebo and a girl simply identified as Folashade.
Sources said that the Chairman of Makurdi Local Government Hon. Keffi visited the scene with a strong security presence to ensure the safety of other students while search and rescue operations were launched immediately.
