Nigerian TikToker, Habeeb Hamzat, popularly known as Peller, has come under Netizens’ attacks over his alleged assault on his online lover and content creator Jarvis.
Peller and Jarvis had on Sunday night engaged in an argument after attending Seyi Vibez Homecoming Concert in Lagos Island.
A 30-second live-streamed clip saw Peller shoving Jarvis during a heated argument.
Later, a clip from the livestream showed the moment the TikToker attempted to force Jarvis in the car.
An infuriated Jarvis subsequently walked out on Peller.
Some X users on the other hand called out the TikToker over the alleged assault against Jarvis.
Reacting in a post on his Instagram handle, Peller slammed the critics.
He wrote: “I streamed almost six hours, but a 30-second clip with good intention is being pushed to paint me wrongly. This happens often; negative clips get picked while the hours of work and joy are ignored.
“I’m just 20, still figuring life out, trying to provide for myself and my family. Sometimes it feels like people don’t care if I break down or even lose myself in the process
“I’ve never seen a 20-year-old dragged, put down, and torn apart like I am… but every single time, I rise again.”
