The Chairman, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Lagos State Chapter, Honourable Philip Olabode Aivoji, has reaffirmed the total support, confidence and loyalty of his State Exco in the leadership and the ongoing efforts of the National Chairman, Ambassador Ilya Damagun, to reposition the party and protect its constitution.

Hon. Aivoji, who made these remarks on Monday in a letter personally signed by him, equally gave kudos to the tireless efforts of both the Board of Trustees under His Excellency, Senator Adolphus Wabara, and the PDP Governors’ Forum under His Excellency, Senator Bala Mohammad, in the herculean task of ensurig the party meets its obligations.

Aivoji, however, distanced the Lagos State PDP EXCO from the purported letter that emanated from the State Secretary to Senator Anyanwu, stressing that he wrote the letter on his own volition without his authorization as the State Chairman nor the mandate of other members of the State EXCO.

The Lagos State PDP helmsman, who condemned the purported letter in its entirety, noted that the letter only sought to sow confusion and division among the State EXCO, adding that it has, however, been appropriately curtailed.

” I strongly stand in support of the communique of the Forum of the PDP State Chairmen held on Thursday, November 6, 2025 where we all pledged our loyalty to the leadership of Ambassador Ilya Damagun”, said Aivoji

The PDP Chieftain further assured that as the party matches towards Ibadan 2025 National Convention, the Lagos State PDP EXCO stands renewed, guided by integrity and propelled by justice and fairness towards the conduct of a successful National Convention.
