Dear Friends, Fiends And Followers,
I am struggling to come to terms with fighting cancer alongside my first daughter. She was diagnosed about two years ago with Breast Cancer. Her treatments continue. Three years ago, I was treated for early prostate cancer detection. But a few weeks ago, the prostate returned and has spread to my bone. I have been diagnosed with a Stage four bone cancer – an aggressive spread from prostate cancer that I thought was in remission after treatment in 2023. It’s overwhelming, and I’m not sure how we’ll get through this together.
However, I have decided, alongside with my daughter, to share my story with you as an inspiration to encourage you, if you are over 35, to please check your PSA through a yearly blood work with your primary care doctor.
My daughter has set up a GoFundMe to help me( please see link below) to cover expenses not covered by my health insurance, other living expenses during this incredibly tough time. Any support would be a huge help.
