The family of Billionaire Igbo businessman, Sir Innocent Chinedu Onuoha, Executive Chairman of InnoChris Group, has now announced his death, three months after his transition.
He is survived by his wife, Lady Adline Onuoha, children, grandchildren, and siblings.
Publicly breaking the news for the first time, the family in a statement, said he died peacefully in his sleep on December 11, 2025, in his Lagos home.
Also called Ogbuefi, a revered title in his community, Onuoha, he was born in1954.
An Evangelist in the Anglican Communion, Onuoha hailed from Umuoma Umuaro 11 Autonomous Community, in Isiala Mbano of Imo State.
He worked as a former Secretary in Flour Mills Nigeria Limited, before venturing into private investments.
He was the Executive Chairman, InnoChris Group, comprising InnoChris Transport, InnoChris Computers, and InnoChris Motor Spare Parts (wholesale & retail).
A bridge builder and philanthropist, he is best known for his roles in several outstanding development and infrastructure projects in his community.
Through his scholarship scheme, many indigent persons were able to attend school and receive a sound education.
He similarly mentored many in apprenticeship, leading to their becoming business owners.
Onuoha made a remarkable impact on widows and the less privileged through his philanthropy, which he dispensed without discrimination, restoring hope to dozens of beneficiaries across the country.
While arrangements for his final burial are ongoing, his family will announce the date in due course.
