Says Opposition To Tinubu.Is Not Enmity With Tinubu
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has received best wishes on his birthday from an unusual quarter as a man known for his consistent criticism of the president’s policies in his capacity as Opposition Spokesperson has warmly congratulated the President on his 74th birthday.
In a Press Release he issued today Sunday in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, Comrade Mark Adebayo, congratulated the President by saying that it is encouraging to see a man of the President’s age driving the vehicle of a complex country like Nigeria.
“I woke up this morning to discover that today is your birthday, Mr. President. We may be in opposing political camps, but as my president I join millions of your supporters and family members to wish you a happy 74th birthday and many years of healthy life and God’s guidance.
“I do this with an open mind in my conviction that opposition should not mean enmity or destructive activism. As the President of Africa’s most populous country with diverse and complex challenges, it is encouraging to see a man of your age still strongly piloting the affairs of the country under extremely difficult circumstances. I believe this gives the overwhelming numbers of Nigerian youths the encouragement to be active in the re-engineering processes of the country through active participation in politics.
“As Nigeria goes through the current reforms, I pray that God gives you greater insight to impact more positively on the country and the citizens as a whole”.
