My Ambition Is To Be A Good Representative For Ewekoro/IFO Constituents –Ademola Olatunbosun
Hon. Ademola Olatunbosun, the African Democratic Congress (ADC) candidate for the Ewekoro/IFO Federal Constituency in Ogun State, has declared that his ambition is to provide effective representation for his constituents if elected to the House of Representatives in the 2027 general elections.
Olatunbosun made this known during an interview with our correspondent in Abuja, explaining that his passion for serving the public dates back to his childhood, when he often thought about ways to help others and improve their lives.
He further explained that even before venturing into politics, he had been using the resources and opportunities God gave him to support people in his community. However, he believes he can achieve much more if elected to represent the constituency.
“Those who represented Ewekoro/IFO Federal Constituency under the APC have done what they could during their time in office. Now, as a candidate of the ADC, I am coming with the determination to do even more for our people,” he said.
The candidate stressed that he was not seeking office to criticise previous representatives but to build on their achievements and continue from where they stopped.
He identified key areas of development that he intends to prioritise, noting that these are issues he would also discuss with his fellow lawmakers. They include education, agriculture, healthcare, economic development, infrastructure and other essential sectors that directly affect people’s lives.
Speaking on the poor state of roads in parts of the constituency, Olatunbosun said communities such as Ewekoro, Ifo, Akute, Lambe and Agbado, among others, needed urgent and lasting solutions to their road challenges.
He observed that during the rainy season, residents often face serious difficulties as roads deteriorate, while government interventions sometimes fail to provide lasting solutions.
“By the grace of God, if you elect me as your representative in the House of Representatives, I will do everything within my power to ensure that lasting solutions are found to the road problems across our communities,” he assured.
Olatunbosun also promised to promote employment opportunities for unemployed youths, with the aim of reducing unemployment and the hardship faced by young people.
He added that traders and artisans would receive attention through initiatives designed to empower them, while encouraging regular consultations and meaningful partnerships to support their businesses.
The ADC candidate called on residents of Ewekoro/IFO Federal Constituency to give him their full support and vote for him in the 2027 general elections, promising to provide responsible and effective representation if elected.
