Bianca Writes Moving Tribute On Late Husband Ojukwu’s 93rd Posthumous Birthday

Nigeria’s Foreign Minister, Bianca Ojukwu, the widow of the Late Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu, has shared a deeply emotional tribute on social media to celebrate what would have been his 93rd birthday.

Bianca and the late Biafran warlord were married for 17 years before his death on November 26, 2011.

She was his fourth wife.

They married on November 12, 1994 (when she was 26 and he was 61), a high-profile union that initially faced opposition from her father, former Anambra State Governor Christian Onoh, before receiving family blessing later on.

The couple had three children together: Chineme, Afamefuna, and Nwachukwu.

Her tribute spoke of the enduring pain of his absence, stating that not a day went by without her and their children missing him.

She wrote:

‘’Happy Heavenly Birthday, My Dearest.

Not a day goes by that we don’t miss you. Today, especially, I feel the emptiness of your absence and wish I could see your smile, hear your voice, hold your hand, and celebrate another birthday by your side.

The children are now grown but still hold on to the love, memories, and beautiful moments we all shared. These remain strong anchors in trying times.

I hope heaven is celebrating you as beautifully as I would have here on earth. Until we meet again, Dearest, continue to rest peacefully. You are loved, missed, and remembered today and always.’’
