Building Housing Yoruba Nation Activists Has Been Bulldozed

Authorities have pulled down a building where Yoruba Nation agitators reportedly operated from in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.

The building on Toye Oyesola Street in the Ibadan South West Local Government Area was demolished on Wednesday evening.

Its demolition is happening after armed men suspected to be Yoruba Nation Agitators stormed the Oyo Government Secretariat on Saturday, April 13.

Security operatives later arrested them and they were arraigned on Wednesday morning.

Clad in army camouflage and armed with rifles, they had attempted to hoist their flag at the premises of the Oyo State House of Assembly.

The Nigerian Army later described their wears as “foreign camouflage.”

However, they were later arrested by the joint security personnel during the invasion.
