Death Of Gospel Singer Toluwanisings Confirmed By Family
The death of Nigerian Gospel Singer, Olayemi Bayonile Bolaji, popularly known as Toluwanisings has been confrmed by an announcement by his family, who said he died in the early hours of Wednesday, October 14, 2026.
Toluwanisings, who founded and led the Toluwani Gospel Music Ministry (TOGOMM), reportedly slumped at his residence in Ibadan, Oyo State, after complaining of tiredness.
He was rushed to a hospital where he passed away.
His family officially confirmed the passing through an announcement shared across his social media platforms, asking the public to keep his wife, family, and loved ones in prayer.
The statement read, “With deep sorrow, the family announces the passing of Minister Olayemi Bayonile Bolaji, Toluwani Gospel Music Ministry (TOGOMM), who passed away in the early hours of 14 October 2026.
“A dearly loved husband, family member, and gospel minister.
“Please keep his wife, family, and loved ones in your prayers during this difficult time.”
His last public engagement seemed to be his impromptu ministration at the “In His Presence” monthly worship programme of fellow Gospel Singer, Bidemi Olaoba, in Ibadan on Tuesday night.
In July, Toluwanisings had been involved in a road crash alongside members of his band while returning from a musical ministration in their “Hummer” bus.
