Driver Rams Car, Dies Under Parked Trailer In Lagos
A fatal salon car accident happened on Monday morning, October 12, 2026, along the Lagos State University (LASU)-Iba Road in Lagos State, resulting in the death of the unidentified driver.
The man behind steering wheel driver after his Toyota Camry vehicle rammed into a trailer on the LASU-Iba road in Lagos State.
The Lagos State Traffic Management Agency (LASTMA) said the incident occurred at Pennafort Filling Station inward First Gate along Lasu-Iba Road on Monday morning, October 12, 2026.
In an update shared around 7:45am, the agency blamed the incident on brake failure.
LASTMA said its personnel and men of the Nigeria Police Force quickly mobilised to the scene.
“At Pennafort Filling Station inward First Gate along Lasu-Iba Road, a minor accident involving a Toyota Camry and a Trailer occurred due to brake failure, with one casualty recorded (the driver of the Toyota Camry). Our officials including the Men of Nigerian Police Force are on ground to do the needful,” the statement read.
