Fire Breaks Out At NNPC Lagos Terminal

The Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service is currently managing a fire outbreak at the newly rebranded NNPC Terminal, formerly OVH, located on Kayode Street, Marine Beach, Apapa.

The fire was triggered by a spillage of petroleum products within the tank farm’s perimeter.

Multiple emergency response teams from the oil and gas sector are collaborating to contain the situation effectively.

We want to assure the public that the emergency response is under control and measures are in place to prevent further escalation.

Update on the NNPC Terminal Fire, Apapa:

As at 13:10 hours Friday, the Fire has been put out by the joint efforts of emergency responders coordinated by the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service without any recorded casualty. This will pave way for investigation into the cause of the Fire as mopping up exercise continues.
