Lagos State’s Governor Jide Sanwo-Olu received the Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Mojisola Lasbat Meranda and the other Principal Officers on a courtesy visit at his office on Monday.
The Speaker was received by Mr Governor and his Deputy, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat, shortly before the commencement of the weekly State Executive Council meeting.
Former Deputy Speaker of the House, Meranda took over the leadership after the impeachment on Monday January 13 of the Speaker Mudashiru Obasa over allegations of mismanagement.
Governor Sanwo-Olu led the Speaker and her delegation to the Council Chamber, where the Speaker and EXCO members pledged to continue harmonious work relationship between the two arms of Government In Lagos State.
