Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has presented the 2025 Appropriation Bill of N3 trillion to the Lagos State House of Assembly.
It is about N1 trillion higher than the N2.267 trillion for Sanwo-Olu’s 2024 budget.
The 2025 budget presentation, which took place on Monday, highlights the state government’s commitment to driving infrastructure development, economic growth, and improved public services in Lagos.
Governor Sanwo-Olu emphasized that the proposed budget aligns with his administration’s development agenda, ensuring that the state remains a hub of prosperity and innovation.
He told the House, “The budget the themed: ‘Budget of Sustainability’, is a blueprint for continuity, resilience and prosperity for Lagosians.
“It is structured around five key pillars, including Infrastructure, Sustainability, Economic, Diversification, and Institutional Reforms.”
