Hamzat Better Than Ambode, Primate Ayodele Tells Lagosians
As the move to shop for the successor of the current Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, hots up, fiery Lagos Prophet, Founder and Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has prophetically lent his voice by revealing to Lagosians whom to vote for.
Primate Ayodele made the disclosure on Tuesday, April 21, 2026 at the international headquarters of his church in Lagos.
He urged Lagosians to choose Dr Olufemi Hamzat, the Deputy Governor over the former Governor of the state, Mr Akinwumi Ambode, adding that Ambode’s time has expired.
He also warned that consensus system of selecting candidates for election would not work for APC, but urged the party to practise consensus within the Southwest if they must.
He said, “Forget about Ambode. APC if you want to do something reasonable in Lagos State, Hamzat is a good person.
“Hamzat is better than Ambode, Ambode time has gone.
“If you are using it to cause fight you are just wasting your time.
“You know your party now, not in every state that consensus will work.
“They will just leave APC to another party.
“Let this your consensus be in this your Lagos and southwest.
“If you take it to next north, to east, they will fight you dirty,” he stated.
