Heartbroken Mum Warns Girls To Learn From Mysterious Death Of Her Only Daughter Who Took Money From A Strange Man
A mother writes of her daughters demise on TikTok.
Please, be careful of the people you call friends. Not everybody around you truly wants good for you. About two weeks ago, one of my daughter’s old friends came to visit her at home. They had not seen each other for a long time because the girl now stays in town. My daughter was happy to see her and welcomed her warmly. They talked and laughed together for almost an hour.
When the friend was leaving, she asked my daughter to escort her to the roadside. My daughter agreed, not knowing danger was already waiting ahead. As they were walking, a man driving a big car suddenly stopped near them and called my daughter over. She refused at first and did not want to go close to him. But the man kept insisting.
Still, my daughter refused. Sadly, it was her own friend who started pushing her to go and hear what the man wanted. My daughter finally moved closer, and the man asked for her phone number. She told him she did not even have a phone. The man then told her to enter his car so he could buy her a phone, but she refused again. That should have been the end.
But her friend began mocking her, saying she was acting like a child and that any smart girl would quickly accept such an offer. The man stepped out of the car and gave my daughter some money. My daughter immediately handed the money to her friend and said, “Since you like it so much, you can keep it.”
The friend entered the man’s car while my daughter returned home. When she told me and her aunt what happened, we praised her for making the right decision. We warned her to stay away from people who could lead her into trouble. If only we knew that would be the last full conversation we would have with her.😭💔
That same night, while everybody was asleep, we suddenly heard a loud sound coming from my daughter’s room. We rushed there in fear. We found her struggling alone on the floor. I held her and kept asking what was wrong, but she could barely speak. In a weak voice, she kept saying: “Mama… mama… the money… the money… mama I’m going…” She was crying and repeatedly calling the name of that same friend who visited her earlier that day.
Before we could understand what was happening, my daughter was gone. Since that terrible night, our family has never been the same again. We buried my only child, but the pain still feels fresh every single day. What hurts me the most is that the same friend has never returned, never called, never showed up since that day.
Young girls, please hear me today: never follow people blindly. Never envy another person’s lifestyle without knowing the hidden dangers behind it. Some friendships can destroy lives.
Rest peacefully, my daughter. 😭💔
