IGP Tunji Disu, Sings Love Song For Wife Olufunmilola To Mark 30th Wedding Anniversary

PN360/FO…The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Tunji Disu, and his wife, Chief Mrs. Olufunmilola Mutiat Disu, today Tuesday marked their 30th wedding anniversary.

A video online captured the Inspector-General of Police, sat on the arm of a chair containing his wife, microphone in hand, rendering a love song to her as they marked the occasion at home.

He sang Timi Dakolo’s “Iyawo Mi (My Wife).”

The occasion has attracted an avalanche of congratulatory messages from friends, colleagues, associates and well-wishers.

The police boss’s wife, Chief Mrs. Olufunmilola Mutiat Disu, currently serves as the National President of the Police Officers’ Wives Association (POWA), the traditional position for wives of IGPs.

Celebrating the occasion, well-wishers described IGP Disu as “Nigeria’s most friendly IGP,” while extending their best wishes to the couple for many more years of happiness, love and togetherness.

Born 13th April 1966, Olatunji Rilwan Disu is the 23rd Inspector General of Police of Nigeria.

He was appointed by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to replace Kayode Egbetokun who resigned in February 2026.

He previously served as the Commissioner of Police of the Federal Capital Territory from 2024 to 2025 and as the Commissioner of Police in Rivers State from 2023 till his redeployment to the FCT in 2024.
