King Wasiu Ayinde, a Nigerian Fuji singer better known by his stage names Kwam1 or K1 de Ultimate, has lost one of his wives, Alhaja Hafsat Anifowoshe.

Alhaja Hafsat passed away in the early hours of Tuesday after a prolonged battle with an undisclosed illness.

She was 65 years old and was buried at Abari Cemetery in Lagos, in line with Islamic rites.

The Chief Press Secretary to the LIEL CDA Chairman honoured the late Alhaja Hafsat, describing her as a woman of great character and a loving mother. He lauded her contributions to both spiritual and community welfare.

In a statement to her family and supporters, he offered his condolences and encouraged them to find strength in her life and the impact she made.

“We know it hurts so deeply to lose a loving mother and dependable partner,” the statement read. “You must, however, take solace in the time your mother spent on earth and her good service to God and humanity. Rest assured that our thoughts are with you, and our prayers are that you, the children, and all those she left behind will find the strength to continue where she stopped. May her soul find eternal rest.”
