Maiduguri, the heart of Borno State, once considered a no-go area for Christian crusades due to years of Boko Haram insecurity and Islamic terrorism, shook with the invasion of Pastor Paul Enenche and his team from Dunamis International Gospel Centre based in Abuja.
Tens of thousands turned up for the crusade at the Ramat Square venue.
God responded with miracles and testimonies.
The crusade, titled “Ignited: A Fire of Revival in Borno State,” saw thousands of Christians from across the North East convene for a night of prayers, worship, and spiritual upliftment in the heart of a city once at the centre of insurgency.’
Just 24 hours after concluding a powerful crusade in Anambra, the Founding Pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre stormed Maiduguri, to bring the message of healing, deliverance, and hope to thousands.
IDOMA VOICE observed:
The Maiduguri Healing and Deliverance Crusade witnessed a turnout that defied all expectations—thousands from across the region, from different walks of life, flooded the RAMAT SQUARE, eager to encounter God in a way many had never experienced before.
Dr. Paul Enenche’s commitment to reaching every corner of the earth aligns with the mission of Dunamis International Gospel Centre—until the earth is saturated with the knowledge of God as the waters cover the sea. And Maiduguri was no exception.
As the night progressed, miracles unfolded. The sick received healing, captives were set free, and the atmosphere was charged with the undeniable presence of God.
This was not just a crusade, it was a divine encounter.
From the worship to the word, from the healings to the deliverance, the Maiduguri Healing and Deliverance Crusade will be remembered as moments when heaven touched the earth in Borno State….
Because where others see fear, faith takes a stand.

This is God’s servant, Dr Pastor Paul Enenche in Maiduguri, Borno State, North East, Nigeria.
E shock you?
Borno is where many people will never go for for crusades even if you give them the riches of this world, because of the massive and unusual insecurity in that state.
Nobody in his human mind will dream of holding such kind of open air meeting in such a state.
When God gives you a prophet, the devil will turn him to a project and move gullible people to attack him.
And you have the audacity to speak negatively against this servant of God who is at the forefront of revival in our generation.
Some even rose up with lies and called the miracles that happen during these crusades and meetings fake and termed it ‘arrangee’.
I’ve been waiting to see those Philosophers and class monitors over the body of Christ, but they are no where to be found.
They only sit to speak Greek, Hebrew and Shebrew with big big grammar only for arguments.
MAY WE NOT EXPIRE WHILE STILL ALIVE.
The Lord God of Heaven bless and strengthen His faithful servants, Dr Pastor Paul & Dr Mrs Becky ENENCHE.
Zagazola Makama wrote on Facebook:
The event, held without incident, served as a indication to the improving security situation in Borno and the resilience of the Christian community in the region.
Worshippers sang, prayed, and listened to sermons focused on hope, unity, and faith despite past security challenges.
Many attendees described the crusade as a historic moment for Christians in the North East, emphasizing their right to practice their faith freely.
This is a sign that peace is returning to Borno. The presence of this large number of Christians, worshipping at night in Maiduguri without fear, is a powerful message, said Deborah Musa, a worshipper from Yobe State.
Another attendee, Pastor James Buba, praised the Dunamis International Gospel Centre for organizing the crusade, saying it has rekindled hope among believers in the region.
Despite past insurgency threats, Borno State has witnessed religious tolerance and restoration of peace, allowing such large-scale religious gatherings to take place safely.
As the revival ended, worshippers left the venue with renewed faith and optimism, seeing the event as a milestone in Borno’s path to peace and religious harmony.
Amb. Samuel T. Kolawole tweeted:
