Nigerian singer, Portable, whose real name is Habeeb Okikiola, has carried out the exhuming of his late mother’s body from where it was originally buried.
The “Zazuu” Crooner explained why he took the peculiar step, in a viral video trending on social media.
In the touching video, Portable exhibited the new site where he reburied her, while revealing that his mother died when he was 13 years old.
He gave no further details.
According to Portable, he exhumed the body because the land where she was buried was sold.
He narrated: “I lost my mother at the age of 13. I exhumed her body and reburied her because they sold the land where she was initially buried.”
Portable further said that when she died, he didn’t get to see her body.
He vowed to build a mansion at the place where he has since reburied his mother.
