Newly-Wedded Reverend, Bride Abducted In Kwara
Gunmen have abducted newly-wedded Reverend Abiodun David and his bride, Funmilayo Bamidele, along the Eruku-Iyemero Road in Kwara State.
A photograph of the newly kidnapped couple has emerged following the incident.
The couple was returning from the engagement ceremony in Eruku when they were abducted alongside four others on Saturday evening, September 26, 2026.
According to information from those familiar with the incident, the vehicle was initially expected to take the Isanlu Road, but the driver chose a back road in order to drop off the Best Man and other members of the group in Iyamoye.
The incident occurred along the Iyemero-Eruku Road, where the couple and others were intercepted by armed bandits.
