Nigeria’s Ex-Fire Service Head Is Dead

Former Comptroller General of the Federal Fire Service, Fidelis Ogbogoh, has died.

Ogbogoh reportedly died in the UK after a protracted battle with an undisclosed ailment.

The death was announced on Facebook by veteran journalist, Kanayo Esinulo.

Esinulo wrote:

I” have lost a personal friend and a Confidant, Engr. Fidelis Ogbogoh, the former Comptroller General of the Federal Fire Service. Information reaching me says that the erudite and cerebral Chief of Ogwasi-Uku in Delta State died on Friday, May 10, 2024 in faraway Chichester in the UK after a protracted illness. May our good Lord rest his soul. Good Night, Engr. Fidelis Ogbogoh.”
