One of the farmers, Jimoh Rahmon, said the situation had become unbearable.

“We have been constantly harassed and threatened by Fulani herdsmen. Ours is a farm settlement established by the state government.

“We call on the state government to accede to our request and come to our help. We are being attacked and this was not so before now.

“Our farm produce are being affected. Cattles just invade out farmlands, destroy and consume our crops.

“We don’t have arms to defend ourselves because these Fulani herdsmen are sometimes armed but we want the state government to provide us with security and protection.
