Primate Elijah Ayodele of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Lagos, Nigeria, has decried the war currently going on in Iran.
Primate Ayodele made the call on Sunday, March 15, 2026, while speaking to a team of Journalists.
While condemning the war he called a war of bitterness, he also call for an end to the war.
He queried world leaders including both religious and political leaders who kept mute in the face of unnecessary aggression.
Primate Ayodele said “US has lost, Israel has lost, Iran has lost, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, you have lost in this war.
“This is because the war is not genuine.
“It is man-made war. So as a man of God, what the lord said I should tell the originators of the war, both the Iran leader, US, Saudi Arabia, Israel, why are you fighting this war?
“People are dying and God is not happy.
“Trump, I am telling you the honest truth, Netanyahu, God is not happy because innocent people are dying, you are not fighting the military, you are not fighting those you supposed to fight, it is war of bitterness. Stop it.
“I don’t say you should like it, but that is the truth and nothing but the truth.
“This war will not add value to the world, it is bringing setback in the world.
“So many things will happen. Let us not go into recession, inflation, no country will be left out.
“It is not about religion, we are not talking about that, let’s take religion out of this war, why did they create this war? Who is at fault?
“It is a question. Is it US, let’s be honest, but so far so good, there will be no third world war, but let Donald Trump take it easy. If God has given you power is not enough for you to destroy. Israel’s Netanyahu, I don’t know what your name is, why do you want to die because of power?
“All of this is selfish interest. Selfish interest. It will not take you to anywhere. It doesn’t project Israel as a holy City, it makes Israel look like a satanic City.
“I don’t know, but looking at it, killing, killing, killing, from Gaza to Lebanon to the surrounding countries.
“And this Iranian leader, you can’t change his mind. He is even ready for anything, so why can’t you find a way for ceasefire and let there be peace.
“Even when they are fasting, they don’t respect God. Yes, Donald Trump and Netanyahu, they don’t respect God.
“Why are they doing this fighting during fasting, why?
“The world leaders they are all afraid of saying the Truth. Church leaders, Islamic leaders, everybody supposed to have come out to condemn this war, at least to protect the holy time, the holy period,” he said.
