Primate Elijah Ayodele, Servant of God and Founder of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Lagos, Nigeria, has pinned the problem of South Sudan to the people of the country.
He said their fathers mortgaged the country to international Community and they are suffering it.
He however assured them that democracy will return and election take place in 2026.
He said, “South Sudan, the point is this, when South Sudan mortgaged their lives to international community, their forefathers’ children will curse them, the people that are causing problem in South Sudan are not strangers, even outsiders are using them to foment trouble.
“If anybody causes trouble let that person face the law of justice, if they find the first vice president guilty, let him go in for it.
“Democracy will come to stay, election in 2026 will not stop.
“Let there be well defined democratic process, and of course, let them start the process of reconciliation, and sue for peace so the the best candidate can come out. But the best candidate so far, who will make the country better and prosperous is Dr Benjamin.
“And there are diseases in South Sudan now, they must the careful about cholera and high malaria.
“And let the South Sudan president change the security, South Sudan security is very weak, they can betray the president, and he needs to do something about this.
“Security is very important, it is vital to the success of democracy, if the president’s security is not good, it will affect democracy, there are few people that wants to destroy South Sudan, they should get them arrested. Some are in the military and the rebels.
“The concerned groups, let them start reconciliation, let the start dialogue towards democracy. And I want to commend the efforts of Benjamin, many people may not like him, but he is the person that will make South Sudan better,” Ayodele said.
