Primate Ayodele To First Lady Remi: Don’t Be Selfish, Advocate For Womenfolk
Primate Elijah Ayodele, Founder and Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Lagos, Nigeria, has urged the Nigerian First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, to fight for her fellow women.
He gave the prophetic advice on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at the international headquarters of his church in Lagos.
The Primate said she should spread wealth by advocating for women who had interest in the Senate, House of Representatives, State assemblies, even the position of the President and the Vice.
He said that there was nothing wrong with Mrs. Tinubu giving her fellow women the opportunity to serve the nation in a higher capacity.
He said sharing palliatives was not the problem of women and the country rather she should build capacity for women and youth, instead of being mindful of herself alone, adding that life is not structured that way.
He added that those who voted in the election that brought in her husband were women, as men hardly came out to vote in elections.
Primate Ayodele opined that those who voted for her husband massively should not be abandoned at their moment of need.
Primate Ayodele said, “This is advice to Mrs Oluremi Tinubu, you have not advocated for women and you need women to vote for your government.
“Mama, don’t like me, you are selfish.
“Only you and you alone, I am not saying you should like me, don’t like me Mama. This is the truth but truth is always bitter.
“You have not advocated for women, you want to empower 10,000, how many women have you advocated to be in the Senate, House of Representatives, state assemblies, to be governors, even to be President or Vice?
“Mama, that is not the right way to do things.
“Later you say, palliative, to alleviate poverty, you are rather increasing poverty.
“Nigeria needs women. Those who voted for your husband, they are women. Most men don’t come out to vote.
“Mama Tinubu, change, if you want your husband to win, better follow that step.
“This is my advice, the honest truth, I give you idea, as God said that I should tell you now.
“Mama, you are selfish, help other women, appoint them, give them support, youth, women, give them support, you are not advocating for women, I must tell you.
“It is only you, it is only you. Life does not go like that.
“Do the right thing so that they will write your name with a golden pen.”
