Primate Ayodele Urges Tinubu To Get Involved In NFF Election To Ensure Second Term
Founder of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Lagos, Nigeria, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has urged the president of Nigeria, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to get involved in the Nigerian Football Federalism Election.
He said getting involved will boost his chances in quest for second term.
Primate Ayodele made the statement at the international headquarters of his church in Lagos on Tuesday, August 18 2026.
He said that those that the president of the NFF, Ibrahim Musa Gusau, is relying the are the ones dealing with him now.
Primate Ayodele said, “What is missing in Nigerian football, if you hear it, you will know it goes beyond all these strategies you are using, then you will regret doing all of these.
“However, there is no one united house in NSC, National Sports Commission, all the people you are relying on, Gusau they don’t like you. Take it or leave it.
“They don’t like you at all, the people you are relying on, they are the people punching you now, Gusau.
“You know I shouted, shouted, shouted, but let’s see how it goes.
“And if Tinubu did not get involved in this NFF matter, it will also affect Tinubu’s victor too.
“Removing Gusau can also cause the removal of Tinubu.
“You might take it, you might not take it.
“But let’s wait and see.
“Tinubu needs to strategise.
“I am speaking of spiritual direction, my spiritual direction might not be taken seriously.
“They may not be taken seriously, but these are things I have said, that the people that Gusau is relying on for this election, they will puncture you.
“Is it not happening now? It is happening.
“Then the president must be involved in this matter,” Primate Ayodele said.
