Primate Elijah Ayodele, Founder and Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has advised the Governorship candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, in Edo State, Dr Asue Ighodalo, to drop the move to appeal his election case.
He added that going to appeal would amount to effort in futility.
Primate Ayodele said that aside not going to win the appeal, he would end up wasting his hard earned money.
Primate Ayodele stated that the voice urging him to go for appeal is not godly.
He said rather than waste the money, he should use the money to care for the poor and his state.
“On Edo Election Tribunal, Asue should not waste his money further by going to appeal, it’s negative forces that is pushing him to appeal, it’s going to be very hard for him to win the appeal and the appeal is going to be more expensive. Why can’t he use that money to help the needy and help the state?
“Besides when he supposed to take the step he didn’t do that. So going to the tribunal is going to be zero,” he said.
