Netizens have taken to Twitter to slam former Governor Nasir El-Rufai for the genocidal killings suffered by the mostly Christian Southern Kaduna under his watch from 2015 to 2023.
The backlash came after El-Rufai went on his X handle to invite people to watch his interview slated for 8pm Monday on Arise TV.
He posted:
NIGERIA UPDATE: This is to inform everyone on my timeline that I have accepted an invitation to be a guest on ARISE TV Prime Time live programme scheduled for 8 pm.
My media team has observed that this will be the first interview I am granting to any media organization since I left public office on 29th May, 2023. Please tune in if interested. – @elrufai
Responding to the invite, X users sang different tunes for and against him, especially the killings in Southern Kaduna.
