Tinubu Is 2027 Super Game Changer – Declares Leading Opposition Activist
Says Inordinate Ambitions Have Destroyed The Opposition’s Chances
President of the Pan-Nigerian Civil Society and Opposition Alliance, PANCSOA, Comrade Mark Adebayo, has declared that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is the “super game changer” in the presidential election holding in 2027.
Adebayo who also doubles as the national spokesperson of the Coalition of United Political Parties, CUPP, made this declaration at a stakeholders’ conference organised by the Conference of Opposition Activists In Nigeria, COAN, on Wednesday in Abuja.
“Fellow Comrades, even as opposition activists, we must sometimes face the reality of practical politics. Our preparations for the 2027 general elections are far less than impressive. We fall behind in strategic scenario mapping and targeted grassroots engagement which is exacerbated by a political cargo-cult mentality that have all combined to shoot down any possibility of opposition’s chances at next year’s presidential election.
“Like him or hate him, Bola Tinubu is a super gamechanger in political and election engineering as against opposition levity and epileptic, break-and-quench politicking that merely focus on demarketing the government of the day without proffering workable policy alternatives.
“I am of the strong opinion that, the opposition having failed to achieve a consensus to present and support only one popular opposition presidential candidate due to individual inordinate ambitions of other aspirants, we might as well forget 2027 and start preparing for 2031 because the incumbent president is already projected to win by a landslide.
“Even when Tinubu was not in power and the powers that be in his own political Party, the APC, moved against him in the last presidential election, he eventually won the presidency due to his humongous structural spread across the country and the goodwill he had established for decades nationally coupled with a formidable sense of determination. Is it now that he is a sitting President that a clueless and spineless opposition would unseat him? That President Tinubu will win his reelection is a forgone conclusion and the earlier we key into that reality, the better,” he concluded amidst a standing ovation by the audience while some delegates disagreed vehemently with him.
