Tinubu’s Political Godson Hon. Faleke Obtains Presidential Forms For President’s Re-Election
Hon. James Faleke today Tuesday picked up the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential nomination forms on behalf of his political godfather, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for the re-election bid in 2027.
The exercise was held at the Abuja Continental Hotel (formerly Sheraton), where the forms were formally presented by a delegation from the Party’s National Working Committee (NWC).
Faleke showed up to ensure the President became the first aspirant to obtain a nomination form from the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the ruling party commenced the sale of expression of interest and nomination forms for the 2027 presidential election.
The Federal House of Representatives Member for Ikeja Federal Constituency paid the stipulated sum of N100 million to secure the form within hours of the exercise opening.
The form was formally presented to Faleke by the party’s National Organising Secretary, Sulaiman Argungu, at the APC national secretariat.
The APC had set the nomination form fee for presidential aspirants at N100 million, a figure that drew scrutiny from civil society groups even before sales commenced.
Also, the lawmaker picked up the APC Expression of Interest and Nomination forms on behalf of Lagos Deputy Governor, Dr Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, for the 2027 Lagos State governorship election.
