Two NYSC Beautiful Love Stories (Culled from Twitter unedited)
After my boyfriend and I finished our NYSC camping in Gombe State, due to insecurity, we both applied for redeployment and we were redeployed to different states….I was redeployed to Edo state whilst he was redeployed to osun state.

Not too long after I settled in Edo state, I had another crisis, I was rushed to a hospital near my PPA, the doctor tried to stabilise me with oxygen but I was still struggling for breath.
The doctor asked to speak with a family member to get my medical history since I couldn’t speak, I didn’t want to give him my mum’s number because my dad had died and I didn’t want her overthinking again, I just gave him my boyfriends number.
He called my boyfriend and explained my situation….all through that night, the doctor and my man were busy communicating till I started getting a hold of my breathing little by little….my boyfriend is also a pharmacist so it was easy for both of them to work together.
By the next evening, I was breathing very fine, the doctor asked me the relationship I had with my boyfriend, I told him we were dating and that we just met in NYSC camp.
The doctor told me….that man cares a whole lot about you and he seems very intelligent, I hope you never take him for granted.
I was just stunned, I didn’t know what transpired at night but I know my boyfriend didn’t sleep until I regained some breathing strength because the doctor’s phone kept beeping from time to time all through the night.
He’s my husband now and we are blessed with 3 beautiful children 🥰❤️

14 years ago, my husband and I were youth corp members and we boarded the same bus heading to camp from Onitsha to Gombe in Uchenna motors….we never spoke to each other until one fateful day…….
A few days into camp, one night, after washing my clothes and retiring to my bed, the northern cold got hold of my lungs and my breathing changed, it was my first Asthmatic crisis in the camp, it was midnight so they couldn’t rush me out from camp, they had to stabilise me the best way they could but by morning, it was so bad that I could barely breathe.
By morning, they began to rally round me to rush me out from Nysc camp to FMC Gombe in an ambulance, they needed a doctor, a nurse and a pharmacist in the ambulance, the doctor was already present, the nurse was already present then they needed a pharmacist.
One guy quickly rushed and called my husband, my husband immediately came and entered the ambulance, my husband had no idea what was going on, he just knew there was an emergency that needed him, immediately my husband entered, the ambulance zoomed off with me gasping for air and holding strongly unto my life.
When we got to FMC Gombe, they quickly administered oxygen and I became calm, my breathing steadied and I slept off.
When I woke up, as my eyes fluttered open, my husband was standing by the foot side of my bed, he held my feet, Squeezed it for a while before asking me….can you breathe well now??
I gently nodded in affirmation…..he kept on squeezing my feet without saying another word.
In my most vulnerable moment even without knowing who I was, He stood there looking out for me, silently giving me warmth and comfort.
By evening, I felt better and I was discharged from FMC Gombe, we all went back to our NYSC camp and that was how my husband and I became friends….from friends to lovers and to couples….happily married with 3 beautiful children.
That asthma survivor GOD keeps helping 🙌🙌🙏
