YAHAYA BELLO IS NOT BIGGER THAN THE LAW; EFCC MUST ARREST HIM NOW!
Ladies and gentlemen of the Press, as patriots who are interested in the wellbeing of our country we have decided to intervene on a matter that has been of public interest for some time now.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission was created to fight the crimes of corruption of economic nature which otherwise is known as stealing public or private money and resources. The EFCC has come out that its investigations have revealed huge stolen public money traced to the immediate past Governor of Kogi State, Mr Yahaya Bello.
Since then, EFCC has been making efforts to get this man before the Court to prosecute these allegations and give Yahaya Bello the opportunity to defend himself. But all we have been seeing is one Maradona tactic or the other by suspect to avoid being made to answer for his alleged misdeeds.
Enough of the hide and seek. We call on the EFCC to immediately set mechanism in motion to get Yahaya Bello arrested at all costs because he is not bigger than Nigeria and not above the law. If he is hiding in Kogi State Government house, send in a combined team of soldiers and policemen to smoke him out and bring him before the court.
The EFCC must not allow itself to be held back by any frivolous court orders. Just go in and get him arrested. Period!
We will not stop this agitation until Yahaya Bello is made to account for every kobo he is alleged to have misappropriated while in office. Series of actions in this respect will be seen by Nigerians in the coming days and weeks. The Kogi people and Nigerians of Conscience are in support of our patriotic actions.
