The Progressives Group has sent hearty congratulations to Hon. Tayo Ayinde, the Chief of Staff to Lagos State Governor, on his recent appointment as the RENEWED HOPE AMBASSADOR for Lagos State.
Conveying its felicitations in a statement signed by the Publicity Secretary, Prince Adewale Samson, The Progressives Group described Ayinde as a pragmatic political leader with charisma and character, who was worthy of the honour and the appointment.
The statement said: “We acknowledge and rejoice with him on his momentous appointment as RENEWED HOPE AMBASSADOR for Lagos State.
“It demonstrates that the good people of Lagos State are appreciative of his indelible and landmark achievements in all aspect of human endeavors and the unprecedented change he brought to bear in all spheres of government.
“Your appointment is no doubt in recognition of your selfless service and unrelenting determination to Nation Building.
“Hon. Tayo Ayinde, who is a very loyal party man, has one feature in his system in governance that enhances his party’s (APC) influence and popularity. That feature is powerful and constant consultations and engagement with other shades of political organizations, associations and ideologies.
“His focus on collective interest, values and state of his party and the government of Lagos State cannot be overemphasized.
“As a lover of his home Lagos State and his supersonic belief in nation building, he has effectively mobilized people through grass-root and interest groups which has made the All Progressives Congress (APC) a very powerful force that has developed into national relevance.”
The group urged Hon. Ayinde to see the appointment as a great impetus for him to continue his good work with renewed vigour towards achieving visible development in the state.
According to the group, Ayinde should remember that “to WHOM MUCH IS GIVEN, MUCH IS EXPECTED,” and that the onus now lies on him to prove that indeed he is the best person suited for the award and ambassadorial role.
“On our own part, we shall continue to stay in prayers for him, his family and the Lagos State Government. Congratulations once more,” said Prince Adewale Samson, Publicity Secretary, The Progressives Group.
