Owokoniran Urges ADC State Chairmen To Shun Court And Rally Behind Atiku-Amaechi’s Rescue Mission

The National Vice Chairman (South West) of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and Leader of ADC Frontliners, Lagos State, Hon. Rahman Owokoniran, has called on party stakeholders, particularly elected and appointed office holders, to desist from taking internal party disputes to the courts, warning that such actions undermine the unity and progress of the party.

Speaking on the appeal court ruling involving State Chairmen, Owokoniran stressed that the coalition under the ADC is a formidable national movement that must always place the collective interest of Nigerians above personal ambitions or selfish interests.

He noted that the mission of the coalition is to rescue and rebuild Nigeria, urging every stakeholder to embrace dialogue, party discipline, and internal mechanisms for resolving disagreements.

Expressing confidence in the party’s leadership and direction, Owokoniran reaffirmed his unwavering support for the emergence of Atiku Abubakar as the ADC Presidential Candidate and Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi as the Vice Presidential Candidate.

He described the Atiku-Amaechi ticket as a credible and experienced team capable of rescuing Nigeria from its present challenges and restoring hope to the people.

He further called on party leaders at all levels to actively participate in grassroots mobilisation, emphasising that the responsibility of building a winning political movement should not be left to party members alone.

I urge all our leaders to return to the grassroots, engage directly with the people, strengthen our structures, and mobilise support across every ward, local government, and state.

The Atiku-Amaechi mandate is a duty call to rescue and liberate Nigeria. This is not business as usual, it is a national assignment that requires the commitment, sacrifice, and unity of every member of our great party, Owokoniran stated.

He concluded by encouraging all ADC members and supporters to remain united, focused, and committed to grassroot mobilisation and the party’s vision of building a secure, prosperous, and inclusive Nigeria for all.
