Nigerian TikToker and AI sensation, Elizabeth Amadu, widely known as Jarvis or Jadrolita, has addressed rumours of converting to Islam ahead of her just-concluded wedding ceremony with long-time lover and fellow social media figure-turned-husband, Habeeb Hamzat, known as Peller.
Peller disclosed that they spent over ₦300 million on their three-tier wedding to Jarvis, giving Nigerians another glimpse into the scale of the highly-publicised celebrity wedding.
Peller made the disclosure in a post on TikTok, where he wrote: “300million plus gone for wedding.”
The revelation has sparked conversations online about the rising cost of luxury weddings in Nigeria, particularly following the couple’s expensive Aso-ebi packages and star-studded celebrations.
One TikTok user, Larry_X, commented: “You spend 300 million and collect 400 million house 🏠 who gain now.”

TIKTOKER JARVIS ADDRESSES REPORTED CONVERSION TO ISLAM DAYS AHEAD OF WEDDING TO PELLER
In an earlier Instagram post, Jarvis announced that she and her husband practised Christianity despite having Muslim backgrounds.
She clarified that an old video from a mosque was misconstrued, stating that both she and Peller practised Christianity despite their Muslim family backgrounds.
However, according to Jarvis, despite being Christians, they did not despise Muslims.
She emphasised that both religions promoted unity.
Jarvis posted: “Quick info about the video circulating online. My husband and I are Christian and we both have Muslim background but even as Christians, we also respect and love our Muslim brothers and sisters,” she added.
The popular Nigerian TikTok couple have finalised their marital rites: Traditional marriage, a civil ceremony and finally a church wedding conducted on Saturday, August 8.
