Nigeria’s President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has returned to the country’s capital Abuja after a 12-day private visit to Paris, France.
Tinubu’s recent trip to Paris was his second since taking office in May 2023.
His Presidential Jet landed at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport on Tuesday night.
He was received by top government officials led by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, George Akume, FCT Minister Nyesom Wike and Chief of Staff the President Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila.
Tinubu departed Abuja on Wednesday, January 24, Abuja for Paris for what was officially termed “a private visit.”
Announcing the trip, Special Adviser to the President Media and Publicity Chief Ajuri Ngelale had issued a statement saying: “President Bola Tinubu departs Abuja for Paris, France, on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, for a private visit. He will return to the country in the first week of February 2024,” the statement said.
