Vice President Kashim Shettima, PDP Presidential Candidate, Atiku Abubakar and his Labour Party counterpart Peter Obi journeyed together in a bus to the funeral of Madam Dada Yar’Adua in Katsina on Tuesday.
Dada Yar’Adua, the mother of late President Umar Yar’Adua, died Monday, September 2.
She was 102.
A video of a Toyota Coaster bus showed Shettima and Abubakar sitting together, while Obi sat behind them as they went together for the event.
Hajiya Dada, who was also the mother of the late Shehu Musa Yar’Adua and Senator Abdulaziz Musa Yar’Adua, the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Army, was buried at the Danmarna Cemetery on Tuesday in line with Islamic rite after the funeral prayers at the Katsina Township stadium, Yar’adua quarters, Katsina State.
Several politicians and dignitaries attended the Katsina event to pay their last respects.
