Yayi’s Governorship Dream Under Threat, Primate Ayodele Warns

The Founder and Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has predicted that the governorship ambition of Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, popularly known as Yayi, could face significant challenges, warning that a legal battle may threaten his political aspirations in Ogun State.

Primate Ayodele made the prophecy on Friday, July 3, 2026, while addressing journalists in Lagos. According to him, although the former Lagos senator and current governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) possesses the qualities to contest successfully, his ambition could be derailed if an impending court case is not resolved amicably.

The cleric claimed that someone would institute legal proceedings against the APC governorship hopeful, advising Yayi to seek reconciliation with the individual involved to avoid complications that could affect his political future.

“Yayi, you have what it takes; however, they will take you to court,” Primate Ayodele declared.

He further stated that the legal challenge could pose a serious threat to the APC candidate’s chances of becoming governor if not handled carefully.

“And your governorship is shaking. Beg who takes you to court; if you don’t beg him, he can end your governorship ambition,” he said.

The prophecy comes as political activities continue to gather momentum ahead of the Ogun State governorship election, with aspirants and political stakeholders intensifying consultations and preparations.

Primate Ayodele is known for making public prophecies on political developments and elections across Nigeria. His latest prediction regarding Senator Adeola is expected to generate reactions among political observers and supporters as the state’s political landscape continues to evolve.

Neither Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola nor the Ogun State chapter of the APC had responded to the prophecy as of the time of filing this report.
