The Lagos State Government has shut down some religious and hospitality facilities over what the concerned agency described as noise pollution and environmental infractions.

A statement by the Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency (LASEPA) said:
“LASEPA took strong action against noise pollution and other environmental infractions by sealing off several establishments such as religious centers, hotels, an eatery, and a bar in Alimosho today.
“The affected establishments include:
- His Glory Cloud Church, Sure Word and Power Bible Church
- Soliheena Central Mosque
- Mountain of Power Deliverance
- Cherubim & Seraphim Church
- Iberuoluwa Mosque
- Chirozz Hotel
- Mayoral Hotel
- West End Lounge & Bar
- The Establishment Hotel, and
- Ayoola Foods.
“These measures were put in place to address the identified instances of noise pollution and other environmental transgressions.”
